Corporate Achievements of the Thurrock Business Forum.

2004 marks the third anniversary of the Thurrock Business Forum, this time has been very fruitful and full of successes. Because most of the work of the Business Forum is conducted in Action Groups the sections on each of these record most of the achievements of the Forum. However the Forum has achieved a number of corporate successes:

• Thurrock Business Forum established with high profile Chair, Vice-Chair and Business Champions.
  
  
• Membership progressively expanding, including broad range of Members of various sizes and from various sectors.
  
  
• Corporate identity achieved through dedicated logo, stationery and promotional leaflet.
  
  
• Website launched and progressively upgraded.
  
  
• Business Forum voice in local affairs maximised through representation on Local Strategic Partnership, Area Governance and Thurrock Learning Partnership.
  
  
• Presentations hosted on the Thurrock Urban Development Corporation, the London Gateway proposal for Shellhaven, the Gateway to Industry programme, Thurrock Council Procurement policy, the arrival of the Euro and the Arts Generate scheme.
